For samples whose contact size exceeds 1000mm with the impact table, the maximum deviation of the horizontal height between any two points shall not exceed 5mm. The mass of the impact table should be greater than 50 times the mass of the specimen and large enough to ensure that the specimen falls completely on its surface.

  2. In the surface drop test, edge drop test, angle drop test and free drop test, the requirement that "the sample should be prevented from tipping over during the fall" has been added.

  3. The free fall test is added to the test of packaged and transported parts. The sample is lifted above the impact table, and the sample can be released by cutting the rope, electromagnetic control and other methods to make it fall freely; a special drop tester can also be used in accordance with GB /T 4857.5-1992 "Packaging and Transport Package Drop Test Method" for testing.

  4. An inclination test is added to the test of packaged and transported parts. Use chains, slings and other similar tools to properly fix the sample to prevent the sample from tipping over during the test. Unless otherwise specified, tilt the specimen 22° from the vertical position, observe its movement (tilt or return to the original position), and then gently return the specimen to its original position. Repeat the above operation in all possible unstable orientations.
